All you need to know about the whistle trainer:
What: A non-medicated training device which can be used to practise technique.
Who: Provided for you, a patient with COPD.
Why: To provide reassurance that you are using your inhaler correctly. Practise with this training device, and then if a whistle sound is created, follow the same technique for your medicated inhaler.
How: Follow the instructions provided in the whistle packaging.
When: To use when ever you want to check your inhaler technique.

Important:

  • This training device contains NO MEDICINE. It does not deliver doses.
  • Do NOT use the training device instead of your Trelegy Ellipta inhaler.
  • If you are unsure which device is which, ask your pharmacist or nurse.
